Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clipboard app for iPhone (“Clipboard”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), including its keyboard extension and any paid features. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles your data.

By downloading, installing or using Clipboard you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The short version

Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Clipboard on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these Terms and Apple’s EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, rent or redistribute the app, or attempt to get around any technical limit that controls access to paid features.

Free trial and Clipboard Pro

Clipboard is free to download, and the first time you open it you get a 3-day free trial. During the trial, every feature of the app and the keyboard is available, with no limits.

The features included in Clipboard Pro may change over time as we add, improve or retire them. If a feature you have paid for is removed, we will try to offer a reasonable equivalent. We may change the length of the trial or the way it works for new users in the future. Any change will be shown in the app before you start a trial.

Yearly subscription

Introductory offers

We may sometimes offer a discounted introductory price for the yearly subscription. This is separate from the 3-day free trial. The price and length of any such offer are shown in the app before you subscribe. When the offer period ends, the subscription renews automatically at the standard yearly price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the offer period. Apple decides who is eligible, and usually allows one offer per Apple ID.

Lifetime purchase

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the app, or set up a new iPhone with the same Apple ID, and the app asks you to buy Clipboard Pro again, use Restore Purchases in the app to unlock Pro again at no extra cost. Your purchase status is confirmed by Apple; we do not keep an account for you, so we cannot restore a purchase made on a different Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and we do not have access to your payment or the ability to issue refunds ourselves. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the purchase. Refunds are granted at Apple’s discretion under Apple’s policies. Nothing in these Terms limits any right to a refund you have under the consumer law of your country.

Your content

Everything you save in Clipboard belongs to you. It is stored only on your device, and we do not receive, read or keep a copy of it (see our Privacy Policy). Because of this:

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clipboard to break any law, to infringe anyone else’s rights, or to interfere with the app or with other people’s use of it.

Updates and availability

We may release updates that add, change or remove features, fix bugs or keep the app working with new versions of iOS. Some updates may be required to keep using the app. We may also stop offering the app, or a paid feature, at any time. If we stop offering the yearly subscription, existing subscriptions will not renew, and you will not be charged again.

Disclaimer

Clipboard is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors, available without interruption, or work with every app or keyboard setting. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some countries do not allow certain of these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Ending these Terms

You can stop using Clipboard at any time by deleting it (remember to cancel any active subscription in Settings). We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as the disclaimer and limitation of liability — continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be noted in the app or in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
